GRAPES:

Niagra

A white table grape outstanding sweetness and flavour, really easy to grow reliable heavy crops. Our earliest ripening grape - mid-March.

White Dalmatian

From the Hokianga. This table grape came to us with Black Dalmatian, from an amazing old Dalmatian orchard. It has a rich depth, with very sweet flavour, after Niagra April.

Isabella

A very old Northland Grape that came in with the early settlers on the boats via America.

Bishop Pompallier

This grape came out from France with Bishop Pompallier and came to us via the Andrews homestead in Kohukohu. Large grapes, black skin, full flavour dessert ripe March.

Black Dalmatian (K)

This has come from an old Dalmatian orchard in the Hokianga and although it is a good late desert grape, it has all the qualities of a wine grape and was used mainly as a wine grape. Very dark skin with a very musky flavour and lots of tannin. Ripe late March.
